History & Milestones

Three and a half decades of collective representation for ITI employees in Bihar.

  1. 16 October 1973

    The then President, Shri Ramji Prasad Singh, applied for government recognition to the Director of Employment & Training under letter no. 41.

  2. 18 February 1974Foundation Day

    The union is established. The Labour & Employment Department, Government of Bihar granted recognition under the Bihar Sarkari Sevak (Recognition of Service Associations) Rules 1960 — memo no. 452. This is the date the union observes as its Foundation Day each year.

  3. 06 June 2026

    34th biennial convention and state conference at Patna. A new state committee was elected by secret ballot and the 11-point charter was placed before the House.

  4. 14 June 2026

    The charter was forwarded to the Chief Minister, Additional Chief Secretary, departmental Secretary and Director under memo 01/2026-28.
