What the union is pressing for

Redesignate the instructor cadre as Training Officer.

Apply Pay Level 7, Grade Pay 4600, to the instructor cadre.

Implement the departmental committee's recommendation on promotion for the instructor cadre.

Frame the Bihar State Industrial Training Instructor Cadre Rules 2026 (amended) without delay.

Restore the old pension scheme.

Regularise the service of contract instructors.

Grant Pay Level 4 to lower division clerks, and amend the clerical cadre rules to create the post of Office Superintendent.

Introduce a transparent, option-based transfer policy posting employees in or near their home district.

Ensure newly appointed non-CITS instructors complete CITS training within the prescribed period.

Allot a room for the association's office in every institute.

Fill vacancies across cadres through regular recruitment, and create the post of Storekeeper in every institute.
